About Riverside Golf Course
Ranked as one of Southern Wisconsin’s best public golf courses, Riverside Golf Course received a 3.5 star rating in the acclaimed Golf Digest and has been showcased as one of the top 50 best values in public golf in the country.
Located near the scenic Rock River on the northwest side of Janesville and built by architect Robert Bruce Harris, Riverside Golf Course has grown in prominence and is the proud host of the Ray Fischer Amateur Championship. The tournament is one of the most prestigious amateur events in the Midwest and lists many PGA Tour stars as past champions; among the former winners are Steve Stricker and Skip Kendall.
Dress Code
Soft spikes are required. Metal spikes are prohibited.
Men are encouraged to wear golf style or khaki pants or shorts. Jeans are welcome. Basketball/athletic style shorts are discouraged.
Men are encouraged to wear collared shirts. All shirts must have sleeves and must not display offensive material.
Ladies are welcome to wear golf skirts, skort, short, or pants.
Ladies are encouraged to wear collar shirts, which may be sleeved or sleeveless.
